The Columbus Dispatch reported Friday that Columbus Mayor Michael Coleman's streetcar proposal is "off-line." WOSU spoke with the mayor's Urban Ventures Coordinator, Mike Brown, who said Coleman's streetcar dream has not been derailed. The mayor's funding proposal hit a wall in March when City Council struck down the idea to use more than $25 million from the general-fund budget to pay for the $103 million project.
